What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser to remember things between visits. We also use localStorage for a few preferences that never need to leave your device. Throughout this page “cookie” covers both.

2

Why we use them

  • Strictly necessary — to sign you in, keep your session secure and prevent CSRF / fraud. Without these the marketplace cannot function.
  • Functional — to remember your language, theme and recent searches so the app feels less repetitive.
  • Analytics — anonymised PostHog events that help us see which screens confuse new users. No third-party advertising network is loaded on Packlink.

How to control them

On Packlink

  • Open the cookie banner from the footer (Manage cookies) at any time to switch functional and analytics cookies on or off.
  • Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled — they are required for sign-in and security.

In your browser

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

Disabling strictly-necessary cookies in your browser will sign you out and break checkout. Functional cookies just give you defaults to set again next time.

Changes

When we add or remove a cookie this page is updated and the consent banner appears again for the new categories. See also our Privacy Policy.
